Arvind Ethan David
CEO and Producer
Arvind Ethan David co-founded Slingshot in 2005. He leads business and creative strategy, including serving as hands-on producer on the films, most recently on the break-out indy-hit “The Infidel”.
Outside Slingshot, he sits on the British Screen Advisory Council, and is a guest lecturer at universities including The National Film &Television School and the London Business School, a regular contributor and columnist to the trade press and a frequent speaker at conferences around the globe.
As a writer, Arvind co-wrote the stage-show DIRK (based on the Douglas Adams character Dirk Gently) which won 3 prizes in the LA Weekly Theatre Awards 2007; his most recent play THE EMPEROR OF AMERICA is in development with a West End theatre producer.
Arvind grew up between South East Asia and the UK, and now lives predominantly in London – but also spends increasing amounts of time in Los Angeles. He is represented by Circle of Confusion in the US and Matthew Bates of Sayle Screen in the UK.
