How did you find working with Cantona?

My favourite Cantona story is when, at his disciplinary hearing at the Fédération Française de Football who had just decided to ban him for a month, he walked up to each of the three panel members in turn and simply said “idiot”.

Also his cryptic aphorisms at press conference. At least he was never ’sick as a parrot’ or played in ‘a game of two halves’.
