News about FRENCH FILM release as reported in The Hollywood Reporter:

Additionally, IFC Festival Direct has snapped up U.S. rights to "French Film," directed by Jackie Oudney from U.K. based sales agent The Works International. The film also has been sold to Vertigo Films for the U.K.

Works International chief Joy Wong and Arianna Bocco and Elizabeth Nastro for IFC brokered the U.S. deal. The U.K. deal was negotiated between Arvind Ethan David and Judy Counihan for Slingshot and Rupert Preston of Vertigo Films.

Billed as a romantic comedy detailing the contrast between the French and the Brits when it comes to romance, "French Film" is written by British comedy czar Aschlin Ditta and stars Hugh Bonneville, Anne-Marie Duff and Douglas Henshall.
